Fender is, needless to say, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.

It is loved by countless top artists, including Thurston Moore, Thom Yorke, and Kenta Kataoka.

The Jazzmaster was released by Fender in 1958 as a high-end model.

Although initially marketed as a guitar exclusively for jazz, the Jazzmaster’s signature fat sound and cool looks have endeared it to many artists, helping to shape the underground music scene.

Today, it is a popular model used by numerous Japanese rock artists.

This is a Jazzmaster from the Player Series, manufactured in Mexico—a country geographically close to the United States.

It features an alder body, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.

It boasts a modern design with an easy-to-grip C-shaped neck, a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius, medium-jumbo frets, and an Adjust-Matic bridge.

It is equipped with a Special Design Hot Single-Coil Jazzmaster pickup.

Set to a higher output, it is characterized by a powerful, edgy sound.

The Jazzmaster is one of Fender’s flagship models, second only to the Stratocaster and Telecaster.
