Fender is the undisputed number one brand for electric guitars and basses.

It is beloved by countless top artists, including Kurt Cobain, Johnny Marr, and Marc Ribot.

The Jaguar, introduced in 1962, was developed as the top-of-the-line model in Fender's lineup at the time.

Named after the British luxury car “Jaguar,” this guitar features numerous specifications including a short scale, unique preset controls, specially designed single-coil pickups, and a floating tremolo. It was designed as a high-end instrument with a different direction from the Jazzmaster.

The JG66 is a Jaguar from the highly regarded but now defunct (integrated into the Fender brand) Fender Japan brand.

It is modeled after a 1966 Jaguar.

The body is Alder, the neck is Maple, and the fingerboard is Rosewood.

The combination of the offset-shaped body and metal plate creates a look unique to this model.

It features two JG-SINGLE pickups.

It is said that the structure surrounding the pickups with a yoke (metal plate), the Jaguar's most distinctive feature, increases magnetic density to boost gain.

Combined with its short scale, this creates a distinctive sound: punchy, sparkling tones with a strong midrange presence.

It also features a preset switch and a low-cut switch, allowing for versatile sound shaping at your fingertips.

The bridge is a floating tremolo unit.

This enables the application of delicate and exceptionally smooth vibrato.

A prized piece from the still-popular Fender Japan era.

Don't miss this opportunity.

Approximately 80% of frets remain.
The truss rod and neck condition are good.
The body and finish show minor scratches and dents overall, with rust and tarnish on metal parts.
No major damage; it can be considered a nice condition piece.
The nut slots are worn, causing slight buzzing when the 6th string is struck very hard.
Electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
Tremolo arm is missing.
