Gibson is, so to speak, the king of the guitar world, having produced countless legendary instruments.
It is beloved by countless top artists, including Jimmy Page, Slash, and Zakk Wylde.
The Les Paul model, released by Gibson in 1952, was the company’s first solid-body guitar and debuted as a signature model for the American guitarist Les Paul.
The Les Paul’s signature fat tone and long sustain have been cherished by countless artists, and it has enriched the music scene across various genres from its debut to the present day.
It is truly the quintessential electric guitar.
This is a Custom Shop model.
The Custom Shop is a special manufacturing division created to handle custom orders.
To meet the demands of professional artists and guitar dealers, it crafts exceptional guitars using advanced technical expertise.
Its high quality is highly regarded by artists around the world.
This instrument is a recreation of the 1957 Les Paul Standard.
As a 2023 Custom Shop model, it features the latest specifications of the era, including True Historic parts, a tubeless truss rod, a Custom Backer with an unpotted design, and glue-jointed wood components.
Furthermore, as part of a Japan-exclusive project, this is a specially commissioned instrument finished in the Ebony color—a shade that existed in only very limited quantities during the 1960s.
The body back is mahogany, and the top is maple.
Although the body is finished in solid black, the hardware and trim follow the Standard specifications, giving it a simple yet cool look that’s truly appealing.
Combined with the vintage-like character of the VOS finish, it exudes a tasteful, understated charm.
The neck is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
It features a ’59-style neck profile and medium-jumbo frets, offering excellent playability.
It is equipped with two Custom Buckers featuring Alnico III magnets.
True to the original design, these pickups are soldered—a detail that showcases the manufacturer’s attention to detail.
The sound is clear with a wide dynamic range, delivering a superb tone that combines richness and lustre.
It responds exceptionally well to picking nuances; its ability to faithfully translate dynamics and subtleties into sound speaks to the instrument’s depth.
The bridge features a combination of a Tune-O-Matic and a stop tailpiece.
Its tuning stability and high versatility are particularly appealing.
This top-of-the-line model is handcrafted using high-quality Custom Shop-grade materials.
