This model is an LG-1 manufactured in 1966.

The LG series is known as Gibson’s small-body acoustic line, which has been in production since the 1940s.

Its compact small body makes it highly maneuverable, and its manageable size makes it suitable for a wide range of uses, from playing at home to recording.

The LG-1 features ladder bracing, similar to that found in classical guitars.

Unlike X-bracing, it offers a crisp attack, a dry tone, and a rustic, vintage-style sound character.

The top is made of spruce, while the sides and back are crafted from mahogany.

With a sound focused on the midrange, it pairs well with folk, blues, and singer-songwriter styles.

The neck is mahogany and the fingerboard is rosewood—a traditional Gibson combination.

It features an extremely narrow neck, making it easy to switch from an electric guitar.

This guitar retains a strong sense of the classic 1960s Gibson vibe.

It is a recommended model for those who want to enjoy the unique tone of a vintage small-body guitar.

Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is on the stiff side, but it has been confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The neck has a slight bow. String action ranges from 2.5mm on the 6th string to 2mm on the 1st string, allowing for trouble-free playing.
The body and finish had a total of six cracks, all of which have been repaired. Weather checking is visible throughout.
As this is a vintage instrument, there is some cosmetic damage, but no issues affecting playability or performance have been identified.
The tuning pegs, truss rod cover, bridge, pickguard, strap pin, and two position markers have been replaced.
