Paoletti Guitars is a high-end brand crafted in a small workshop in Tuscany, Italy.
It has a truly unique background, originating when luthier Fabrizio Paoletti repurposed 130- to 150-year-old wine barrels (made of chestnut wood) used by generations of the Paoletti family, who have been making wine since the late 19th century, for guitar construction.
The chestnut wood, having stored wine for many years, is highly dried and possesses a dense, unique resonance.
The sound, utilizing the wood's beautiful grain and rich midrange, is arguably the defining characteristic of Paoletti Guitars.
This model is the Nancy Loft SS, Paoletti's flagship model.
The aged chestnut body exudes the deep texture and presence unique to old wood.
The body design is the Western Maryland Original, inspired by American freight trains.
It achieves a look that is classical yet commanding.
The neck employs Roasted Maple.
Roasted wood, also known as Thermo wood, is a new material popularized by Japan's Sago new material guitars.
Originally a Finnish technology, it was developed for wood used in saunas.
High-temperature processing evaporates moisture and oils within the wood, resulting in exceptional stability even in hot, humid conditions.
Sonically, it imparts a more refined and rich tone.
Equipped with two Paoletti original single-coil pickups.
Delivers a wide range from fat, warm cleans and edgy cutting tones to dense crunch.
Enables simple yet flexible sound shaping.
Born from a wine barrel with over 130 years of history, this is a one-of-a-kind instrument with a truly unique character.
This is a guitar we highly recommend for anyone seeking a special Tele-style instrument.
Approximately 80% of the frets remain.
The truss rod and neck condition are both good.
The body and finish have been aged.
Multiple scratches on the body top near the selector switch,
lifting in the scunk stripe area on the neck back around the 1st and 2nd frets, and impact marks on the headstock top near the logo.
Electronics are in good condition.
