PRS is a new-generation standard guitar brand, rivaling Fender and Gibson.
The beautiful guitars they produce are renowned and loved by top musicians around the world, including Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Orianthi Panagaris, DAITA, and PABLO.
This model is part of the SE line, which offers high quality through superior quality control while maintaining a more affordable price.
This model is the McCarty 594, a McCarty model created in collaboration with Ted McCarty, the developer of the Gibson Les Paul, that brings the McCarty even closer to vintage guitars.
While PRS guitars generally feature a 25-inch scale, which lies between the Fender and Gibson scales, this model features a unique 24.594-inch scale.
This comes from the fact that the scale of a 1950s Les Paul was measured at 24.594 inches.
The body back is made of mahogany, the top is made of maple, and the veneer is made of beautiful flame maple.
The three-ply body construction keeps costs down while maintaining the beautiful looks of PRS's higher-end models. The maple top and mahogany back deliver a genuine sound.
The neck is bound mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
While SE series necks often feature maple, this model uses mahogany, just like its higher-end models.
Compared to maple, it features a richer, more toned sound.
The neck shape is also distinctive, featuring the "Pattern Vintage" neck shape, a meticulous reproduction of the 1953 Les Paul.
This is the thickest PRS neck shape, but with an asymmetrical shape on the 6th and 1st string sides, it combines a vintage feel with excellent playability.
The guitar is equipped with 58/15 LT "S" pickups.
Developed based on the 58/15, which aimed for a late-'50s humbucker sound, it produces a clear, warm sound.
The pickups are coil-tappable, allowing them to be used as single-coil pickups. The wide variety of sounds is appealing.
The controls and hardware are also vintage-style, giving it a traditional look.
Combining vintage-like sound with modern playability, this model is truly the pinnacle of PRS perfection.
We're confident that it delivers quality that exceeds its price.
Please give it a try.
