It truly represents the quintessential electric guitar.

The ST-456 is a Stratocaster from the highly regarded yet now defunct Fender Japan brand (integrated into the Fender brand).

Serially marked as MADE IN JAPAN E, it comes from a period particularly prized by collectors.
Manufactured by FujiGen, one of Japan's renowned veteran manufacturers.

The body is Alder, the neck is Maple, and the fingerboard is Rosewood.

The body, pickguard, knobs, and pickup covers are all finished in Black, giving it a cool look.

The pickup layout is the versatile SSH configuration.

It covers everything from crisp clean tones to hard-driving sounds.

Approximately 60% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is stiff but confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The neck condition is good.
The body and finish show dullness and rust on metal parts.
Scratches are present on the body top and pickguard. Numerous dents and scuffs are visible on both cutaway areas, the elbow contour, and near the control knobs.
Impact marks and scuffs are also present on the elbow section of the body sides, near both strap pins, and around the controls. Impact marks can be seen on the body back, back contour, both cutaway areas, and near the back panel.

There is a scratch on the neck plate, and an impact mark on the 2nd fret of the fingerboard.
Numerous fine impact marks are visible on the back of the neck near the 3rd to 9th frets.
There is a brown discoloration near the nut on the 1st string side, and fine scratches are scattered across the headstock top.
Additionally, there is an impact mark on the upper headstock side, and an impact mark is visible near the 1st string peg on the headstock back.
The condition of the electronics is good.
No clear modifications were observed.
