| Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses. It's loved by countless top artists, including Kurt Cobain, Johnny Marr, and Marc Ribot. The Jaguar, introduced in 1962, was developed as the top-of-the-line model in Fender's lineup at the time. Named after the luxury British car "Jaguar," this guitar features numerous specifications such as a short scale, unique preset controls, specially designed single-coil pickups, and a floating tremolo, and was designed as a high-end instrument with a different direction from the Jazzmaster. This model is a Jaguar from the Fender MIJ series, which was redesigned and rebranded after the discontinuation of Fender Japan. It's based on a model manufactured in the late 1960s. The body is made of basswood, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood. It features an offset-shaped body, a metal plate, a matching headstock, and block inlays and binding, giving it a unique look. This guitar features a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius, vintage-style frets, and a "U" shaped neck grip, providing traditional playability. It's equipped with two Vintage-Style Single-Coil Jaguar pickups. The Jaguar's signature pickup design, where the pickup is surrounded by a yoke (metal plate), is said to increase magnetic density and boost gain. Furthermore, the short scale length contributes to a punchy, sparkling sound with a strong midrange presence. It also features a preset switch and a low-cut switch, allowing for a variety of sound shaping at your fingertips. This guitar is packed with many traditional elements.
