Ibanez is one of Japan’s leading guitar brands, recognized worldwide alongside Fender and Gibson.

It is known for being the instrument of choice for many artists, including George Benson, John Scofield, and Pat Metheny.

This model is the iconic AF95-RW.

Part of the Artcore Expressionist series, it is distinguished by its body made of laminated rosewood.

Rosewood is used not only on the top but also on the back and sides, and combined with its subdued natural color, it gives the guitar a classic, striking appearance.

The neck is a 3-piece mahogany and maple construction, and the fingerboard is made of rosewood.

Both the neck and bridge positions are equipped with Ibanez Super 58 pickups.
These are original Ibanez pickups introduced in the late 1970s that produce a rich, sweet sound.

How about this as your first solid-body guitar?

Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck shows slight signs of bowing, but it plays without issue with a string action ranging from 2.0 mm on the 6th string to 1.5 mm on the 1st string.
The body and finish show fine scratches overall, and the metal parts have some tarnish. There are linear scratches on the body’s back near the horns and on the lower part of the 1st-string side. Signs of wear and linear scratches are scattered across both sides of the headstock.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
