Jimmy Wallace Guitars is a guitar brand based in Texas, USA.

Led by Jimmy Wallace—who is also known as one of the world’s leading vintage guitar collectors—the brand crafts instruments that blend classic specifications with modern playability, drawing on his extensive knowledge and experience with vintage guitars.

This model, the “SC Special,” is based on a simple design reminiscent of student models from the late 1950s to the early 1960s, yet is packed with Jimmy Wallace’s signature attention to detail.

The body is crafted from mahogany.

The traditional single-cut body shape, finished entirely in mahogany, features a flat top and boasts a retro look.

The body is finished in Vintage White using nitrocellulose lacquer.

It also features bold, realistic aging effects, giving it an old-school look.

From the moment you pick it up, you’ll feel its overwhelming presence and unique character.

The neck is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard is crafted from jet-black rosewood.

With a 12-inch radius fingerboard and a C-shaped neck profile, it offers a vintage-like feel.

It is equipped with Jimmy Wallace original P-90 pickups.

A major feature of this model is its unique configuration: a soapbar-style P-90 in the front and a dog-ear-style P-90 in the rear.

Its appeal lies in the thick, powerful midrange, the crisp clarity typical of single-coil pickups, and a rich, full-bodied sound reminiscent of humbuckers.

With its high-quality mahogany body and P-90 pickups, this is truly the golden combination that has endured since the 1950s.

The bridge is a wrap-around type.

The pleasant, straightforward sound that allows you to feel the string vibration directly is a unique charm of this instrument.

This ambitious creation is imbued with a deep respect for vintage guitars and Jimmy Wallace’s unique aesthetic.

It’s a guitar that excels in all three areas: looks, sound, and playability.

Why not take advantage of this opportunity?

Approximately 80% of the frets remain.
The truss rod and neck are in good condition.
The body and finish have been aged. There is some paint chipping at the neck joint and a small chip in the wood at the bottom edge of the fingerboard.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
