YAMAHA has been a mainstay of the Japanese guitar industry since its early days—it is, so to speak, Japan’s Gibson.

This model is part of the REVSTAR series.

Specifically, it is the RSP02T from the “REVSTAR PROFESSIONAL” line—the top-tier model within the REVSTAR series, which features a unique design inspired by café racers.

The body back is made of mahogany, and the top is made of maple.

Based on an original double-cutaway shape, it features a line running down the center of the body and a uniquely shaped pickguard, resulting in a distinctive look that combines coolness with a retro vibe.

The body features chambering based on Yamaha’s proprietary acoustic analysis process, “Acoustic Design,” achieving both a lightweight feel and a rich, resonant tone.

The neck is made of three-piece mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood.

Additionally, the neck and body are reinforced with carbon fiber, enhancing the overall rigidity of the instrument.

It is equipped with the YGD VP5 pickup, developed exclusively by Yamaha.

In addition to the thick, powerful sound characteristic of P-90-style single-coil pickups, it delivers a clear response.

Furthermore, the tone knob features a push/pull Focus switch.

By emphasizing the midrange, it adds depth to the sound and enhances presence during lead playing, offering a wide range of sound-shaping possibilities.

The bridge is a Tune-O-Matic type, and the tailpiece is a racing tailpiece designed exclusively for the REVSTAR.
