YAMAHA has been a pillar of Japanese guitar making since the dawn of the industry, essentially the Gibson of Japan.

This model is the signature model of Noro Issei, guitarist for Casiopea, one of Japan's leading fusion bands.

Based on Yamaha's signature SG model, this guitar boasts a unique design with a slightly smaller body shape, star-shaped fingerboard inlays, and white plastic accents.

The back is mahogany and the top is maple.

Although it appears to be a solid body at first glance, the interior is semi-hollow, producing a sound that is both thick and tight.

The neck is a three-piece design made of maple and mahogany, with an ebony fingerboard and a neck-through joint.

The pickups are Yamaha's original Spinex humbuckers and original single coils in an HSH configuration.

Spinex is said to be the third magnet type after alnico and ceramic, and is characterized by its hard, solid sound.

The humbucker can be coil-tapped by pulling up the tone pot.
You can enjoy a thick humbucker sound or a brilliant single-coil sound.

The single-coil in the middle position can also be switched on and off independently.

The wide range of sounds available from a single guitar is a major attraction.

The bridge is equipped with Yamaha's original locking tremolo.

This innovative tremolo unit allows you to adjust the unit's range of motion, allowing you to set it to floating or flat, depending on your playing style.

While string changes with locking tremolos can be a bit of a hassle, this model allows you to change strings without cutting the ball ends, which is a great feature.

This is a rare model that is not often seen around.

Don't miss this opportunity!

Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The truss rod works and the neck is in good condition.
The body and finish show signs of wear such as scratches and dents overall. There are numerous scratches, particularly on the back of the body and pickguard. There is rust and scratches on the metal parts, and discoloration on the neck and body binding.
