Seymour Duncan is best known for its pickups, but their guitars are also popular.

This model dates back to the 1980s, when it was produced by Yubi Onkyo, the official Seymour Duncan importer.

As you can see, it's based on the Stratocaster.

The neck pocket and neck heel are stamped with the name PHILIP KUBICKI.

Philip Kubicki was formerly with Fender and is a legendary builder known for designing the Telecaster Thinline and building the All Rose Telecaster.

This model is likely made in a Japanese workshop using wood supplied by PHILIP KUBICKI.

The body is made of classic ash.

The combination of the natural color finish that brings out the wood grain and the tortoiseshell pickguard is very cool.

The neck is made of one-piece maple.

The neck has beautiful flame grain, making it clear at a glance that it is made of high-quality wood.

The guitar is equipped with Seymour Duncan SSL-1 pickups, faithfully reproducing the pickups found in the original Stratocaster.

The sound is brilliant and fat.

The extremely thick tone is a stark departure from the bright sound you'd typically expect from an ash body and maple neck.

The bridge has been replaced with a zinc die-cast tremolo unit found on Fender Stratocasters from 1972 onwards.

This alone makes it a valuable piece of hardware.

This guitar is not only attractive for its looks and sound, but also for its rarity.

Don't miss this opportunity!

Approximately 70% of the frets remain.

The truss rod is a little stiff, but it can be rotated about 90°.

The neck is in good condition.

The body and finish show signs of general use, including scratches, dents, and discoloration of the paint. There are numerous scratches on the pickguard, tarnish on the metal parts, and scratches and peeling plating on the neck plate. The fingerboard is darkened. The back panel is damaged.
The tuning pegs are Schaller, the bridge is a 1972 or later Fender tremolo bridge, and the strap pins have been replaced with Schaller-type locking pins.
