This is a special guitar custom-ordered by TONIQ.
The XTC series is based on the traditional style of single-cutaway guitars, but is an ambitious design that incorporates modern elements throughout.
It is handmade in California by artisans using high-grade woods.
The body is made of ash.
It has an extremely thin finish of White Blonde nitrocellulose lacquer.
A white anodized pickguard adds a luxurious touch.
The body has a realistic medium-aged finish, giving it an old-fashioned look.
The neck is made of 4A-grade roasted maple.
Roasted maple is a wood that achieves high stability by evaporating moisture and oils from within the wood through high-temperature treatment.
Originally a building material for Finnish saunas, it is particularly resistant to high temperatures and humidity.
Not only is it practical, but the beautiful grain unique to 4A grade wood is also very appealing.
We specified rosewood for the fingerboard.
The deep black rosewood used is a testament to the carefully selected wood.
The pickups are hand-wound Raw Vintage TE Dual Single Coil.
With a sharp attack and abundant sustain, the neck pickup produces a thick, mellow tone, while the bridge pickup produces a crisp, powerful sound.
It is faithful to picking nuances, and the sound, which shows various expressions depending on the player, thanks to the simple design of a Telecaster, speaks to the depth of this model.

It faithfully reproduces a vintage bridge from the 1950s.
