It is based on the Les Paul Standard manufactured in 1960.
The body top is made of AA-grade figured maple.
While it does not have a flashy tiger grain, the flame grain, visible depending on the angle, gives it a very elegant impression.
The body back is made of mahogany.
The weight relief has been eliminated, returning to a solid body like that of vintage and Custom Shop models.
This results in a tighter, more solid sound compared to models with weight relief.
Not only does this change the sound, but the fact that the specs are now the same as those of higher-end models is a particularly welcome change.
The neck is made of mahogany and the fingerboard is made of rosewood, a traditional combination.
This model features a slimmer, thinner neck profile than most Les Pauls.
This is a hallmark of the '60s style, allowing for smooth fingering.
The hardware also shows attention to detail, with gold metal hat knobs, a wireless ABR bridge, and an aluminum tailpiece.
In addition to the above, this guitar has been further upgraded.
The pickups have been replaced with WIZZ Premium PAF Clone (Aged).
These are said to be the pinnacle of PAF replica pickups, and it is said that no other pickups more accurately reproduce the original PAFs.
Other features include:
- Tuning machines replaced with MONTREUX The Clone Tuning Machines for 60 LP Nickel
- Bushings were also replaced when the tuning machines were replaced.
- Fingerboard inlays, truss rod cover, and jack plate were also replaced.
These modifications give this guitar, a regular model, an old-school look reminiscent of a Custom Shop production.
