The body is made of alder.
The body color is finished in Belair Green, and combined with the large pickguard, it has a pop and original look.
The neck is made of maple and the fingerboard is made of rosewood, a traditional combination.
Compared to traditional Fender specs, the fingerboard radius is slightly flatter, providing stress-free playability.
As with the USA model, it is equipped with MFD (Magnetic Field Design) pickups, one of G&L's greatest features.
By placing a ceramic magnet under the coil to increase output and reducing the number of coil turns, we've successfully eliminated the weaknesses of single-coil pickups: lack of power and excessive noise.
In addition, this pickup's pole piece height is adjustable.
This is a rare design for a single-coil pickup, and is a welcome feature for guitarists who want to precisely balance the volume of each string.
The bridge is equipped with G&L's original saddle-lock bridge.
Securing the bridge saddles at both ends reduces string vibration loss.
While traditional Telecasters place two strings on a single saddle, making precise octave tuning impossible, this pickup allows for precise tuning of each string.
The sound is characterized by the warmth and crispness that is unique to ASAT.
