Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano.
It is a subsidiary of Divider, which owns the large Asuka Factory, a guitar factory. The high quality, which comes from the factory's own production, is highly regarded by many musicians.
Bacchus offers several series at different price points, but the Universe series offers particularly high cost performance.
This model is a Telecaster with a roasted maple neck.
Roasted maple originated as a Finnish technique, and its use in musical instruments was pioneered by the Kansai-based brand Sago.
The wood is treated at high temperatures to evaporate moisture and increase rigidity. Naturally, any wood that warps during this process is never used.
This results in a high-quality product in two senses.
The tone is refined, and the playing feel is, in a good way, slightly less brand new.
The wide range and warm nuances create a juicy, blissful sound.
This guitar is an outlet item due to scratches on the back of the headstock.
