YAMAHA has been a pillar of Japanese guitar making since the dawn of the industry, and is like Japan's Gibson.
The company has produced many classic guitars, including the Pacifica, SG, and BB, but this is the unique SGV model.
The guitar features a unique, original body shape and an ingenious pickup layout.
The neck pickup is a slant-mounted single-coil pickup, and the bridge pickup has two single-coil pickups connected in parallel. By controlling these pickups with a balancer, it can be used as a three-pair guitar like a typical Stratocaster, or all three coils can be used simultaneously to produce a fat sound.
The guitar is equipped with a newly developed tremolo unit with ball bearings and roller saddles, allowing for very smooth pitch changes when using the arm.
Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The truss rod works and the neck is in good condition.
Controls include a 3-way toggle switch, rear pickup direct switch, 1 volume control, 1 tone control, and balancer.
There are scratches from playing on the pickguard, small scratches and dents on the body, and the gold parts have become dull and peeled due to aging.
The strap pins have been changed to Schaller-type locking pins.
The guitar was set up using Pitbull Strings, which we import and sell.
These high-quality strings have a natural sound and maximize the instrument's performance and character, so please enjoy them.
The guitar will be tuned by GIB craftsmen for optimal playability before delivery.
