The ES-B electronics incorporate elements of the Expression System 2 (ES-2) found in Taylor's higher-end models.
Instead of placing a piezo element under the bridge saddle, sensors are arranged behind the bridge saddle, allowing the guitar's natural sound to be output naturally.
