HEX Guitars is a South Korea-based brand specializing in entry-level to mid-range guitars.

They own their own factory in Indonesia and manufacture their products themselves.

This sets them apart from brands that typically use OEM manufacturing.

Their passion for production, with the boss himself involved in the process, allows them to produce guitars of a surprisingly high quality for their price point.

The SE200 boasts high functionality and excellent playability, catering to modern playing styles.

It features modern specifications such as stainless steel jumbo frets, a compound radius fingerboard, and carbon fiber rods embedded in the neck.

The sharp, well-balanced body is made of Indonesian Mahogany, the neck is made of Hard Maple, and the fingerboard is Indian Rosewood.

The neck is reinforced with carbon fiber rods, ensuring strength and maintaining a low string action.

The scale length is 648mm (25.5 inches), the same size as a Fender guitar. The fretboard radius is a 12-16 inch compound radius fretboard.

A compound radius fretboard gradually flattens from the lower to the higher positions. This is a system adopted by high-end guitar brands such as Suhr.

The frets are large-sized stainless steel. Stainless steel is characterized by its lack of tarnish and high hardness. Therefore, stainless steel frets maintain their shine indefinitely and are extremely resistant to wear, making them popular in high-end guitar brands in recent years.

The neck shape is a slim, comfortable C-shape with a satin finish.

The pickups are custom-developed and mounted in an HH layout.

They use original pickups in many of their models.

This is not for cost-cutting, but because they have confidence in the quality of their self-designed pickups.

The staff, who understand music and play music regularly, thoroughly research many elements such as magnets, wires, and bobbins to design the pickups.

The pickups are controlled by a 5-way switch, and half-tone output with single-coil is also possible.

The balance in your hand is excellent, and even those accustomed to playing Fender or Gibson guitars will likely find it easy to play.

It boasts a very wide range of sound characteristics, but all are of high fundamental quality and practical.
