| Epiphone is a guitar brand with a long history. It is loved by many professional artists, and Noel Gallagher, Paul McCartney, Thom Yorke, and Yosuke Shimonaka are known to use the brand. (Titles omitted) This model is the Riviera, a flagship model of Epiphone. The body is made of laminated maple. The semi-hollow construction with F-holes gives it a sound that is somewhere between a solid and an acoustic guitar, combining a moderate resonance with tightness. The neck is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood. It is equipped with two Seymour Duncan Antiquity mini humbucker pickups. While having the low noise characteristic of humbucker construction, it outputs a brighter tone than a regular humbucker. Furthermore, this model has a Varitone switch. This allows for a wide range of sound shaping, from a fat sound to a bright sound with emphasized high frequencies. The bridge features a Bigsby tremolo.
