| Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses. It's loved by countless top artists, including Thurston Moore, Thom Yorke, and Kenta Kataoka. The Jazzmaster was released by Fender in 1958 as a high-end model. Initially released as a jazz-only instrument, its signature fat sound and cool looks made it beloved by many artists, and it has graced the underground music scene. Today, it's a popular model used by many Japanese rock artists. This particular model is a Jazzmaster from the Fender MIJ series, which was redesigned and rebranded after the discontinuation of Fender Japan. Furthermore, this instrument is a limited edition FSR (Factory Special Run) model based on the Made in Japan Traditional series. The body is made of alder, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood. This guitar boasts a cool look with its walnut finish that highlights the wood grain and a tortoiseshell pickguard. It features a U-shaped neck grip, a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius, and vintage-style frets, offering traditional playability. It's equipped with Vintage-Style Single-Coil Jazzmaster pickups. Sound-wise, it's characterized by the Jazzmaster's signature sound, combining warmth and crispness. The Jazzmaster is one of Fender's flagship models, following the Stratocaster and Telecaster. The body and paintwork show overall minor scratches and signs of use.
