Fender is, needless to say, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It is beloved by countless top artists, including Eric Clapton, John Mayer, and Ritchie Blackmore.

The Stratocaster, released by Fender in 1954, debuted as a derivative model of the Telecaster—the original solid-body guitar.

Thanks to its innovative design and high versatility, it has been cherished by countless artists and has enriched the music scene across various genres from its debut to the present day.
It can truly be called the quintessential electric guitar.

This model is a Stratocaster from the Fender Japan brand, which, despite being highly regarded, was discontinued (and integrated into the Fender brand).

In terms of serial numbers, this falls under the “MADE IN JAPAN E” designation, representing a period when these models were particularly highly regarded.
It was manufactured by Fujigen, a long-established Japanese manufacturer.

The body is made of alder, and the neck is a one-piece maple.

The solid black finish on the body, combined with the white pickguard, gives it a look reminiscent of Eric Clapton’s signature model, “Blackie.”

It is equipped with three Fender Lace Sensor Gold pickups.

Compared to standard single-coil pickups, these are characterized by low noise and high output.

Furthermore, this model features a mid-boost circuit.

This allows for a wide range of tones, from a fat sound that rivals a humbucker to the bright, classic Fender sound.

A true gem from Fender Japan that remains popular even today.

Don’t miss this opportunity.

Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is on the stiff side, but it has been confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and finish show general scuffs, dents, and tarnish on the metal parts. The control knobs and back panel are discolored. There are areas of chipped finish on the fingerboard and scattered dents on the headstock.
The pickup covers show signs of wear, and there are scattered linear scratches near the jack.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
