| Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses. It's loved by countless top artists, including Eric Clapton, John Mayer, and Cory Wong. (Titles omitted) The Stratocaster, released by Fender in 1954, emerged as a derivative model of the Telecaster, the original solid-body guitar. Its innovative design and versatility have made it beloved by countless artists, and it has graced various genres of music scenes since its introduction. The ST62-53 is a Stratocaster from the Fender Japan brand, which was highly regarded but unfortunately ceased to exist (integrated into the Fender brand). It was manufactured by Fujigen, a long-established Japanese manufacturer. As its name suggests, it is modeled after the 1962 Stratocaster. Although made in Japan, it possesses a sound that fully embodies the Fender character. That's why Fender Japan is so highly regarded worldwide. The body is made of basswood. It's a lightweight wood, characterized by a straightforward sound with minimal coloration. The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood—a classic combination.
