| Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses. It's loved by countless top artists, including Jeff Beck, Keith Richards, and Futoshi Abe. (Titles omitted) The TL52 is a Telecaster from the Fender Japan brand, which was highly regarded but unfortunately ceased to exist (integrated into the Fender brand). As the model name suggests, it's based on the 1952 Telecaster. The neck has a "MADE IN JAPAN" marking and a "TL-52TX" stamp, and the bridge plate has a serial number "A". It's likely a transitional model from a factory transition. The body is made of ash. While Fender Japan often uses basswood, it's a nice touch that it uses the same wood as the traditional Telecaster. The neck and fretboard are maple. It's equipped with Texas Special pickups. It's characterized by a sound that is both brilliant and full-bodied. When the neck pickup is selected, it outputs a thick, mellow tone, and when the bridge pickup is selected, it outputs a sharp, powerful sound.
