| FGN (Fujigen) is a guitar factory that Japan proudly presents to the world. Highly regarded globally, it has manufactured guitars for many guitar brands, including Fender, on an OEM basis. This is Fujigen's original brand. This model is the flagship model, the ILIAD. Based on the traditional Telecaster, it's an ambitious creation packed with modern elements. The body is made of alder, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is Granadillo. It boasts a cool look with its traditional single-cutaway design, black body, and large pickguard. The body back is contoured for a comfortable fit against the body. The neck shape is U-shaped, with a heel-less design, 22 frets, a 25.5-inch scale length, and a compound radius fingerboard, combining traditional and modern features. The compound radius, with its rounded lower positions and flatter upper positions, effectively balances playability with a clear, crisp sound, and is used by high-end brands like Suhr and Tom Anderson. The pickups are a Seymour Duncan SH-1n in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan TB-4 in the bridge position. The neck position delivers a thick, sweet sound, while the bridge position produces a sharper, more edgy sound. The balance between positions is excellent, making this a truly classic combination. The bridge features a modern design with six saddles. This allows for individual octave tuning of each string. This is a masterpiece packed with various features and finished with Fujigen's reliable technical expertise. Why not take this opportunity to acquire one? The frets have approximately 80% remaining. The truss rod and neck are in good condition. The body and paintwork have some minor scratches overall.
