The LG series is known as Gibson's small-body acoustic line, developed since the 1940s.

The LG-1 employs ladder bracing, similar to classical guitars.
Unlike X-bracing, it delivers crisp attack, a dry tone, and a rustic, vintage-inspired sound character.
The body top is Spruce, while the sides and back are Mahogany.

The neck is Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, a traditional Gibson combination.
It features an exceptionally slim, narrow neck, making it easy to switch from an electric guitar.

The truss rod is stiff but confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The neck has a slight bow. Action is 2.5mm at the 6th string and 2mm at the 1st string, allowing for comfortable playability.
There were a total of 6 cracks on the body and finish surface, all of which have been repaired. Weather checking is visible overall.
As a vintage item, there is cosmetic damage, but no issues affecting playability or performance have been identified.
The tuners, rod cover, bridge, pickguard, strap pins, and two position markers have been replaced.
