Gibson is, so to speak, the king of the guitar world, having produced countless legendary instruments.

It is beloved by countless top artists, including Bob Marley, Motoo Fujiwara, and Takashi Yamaguchi.

Introduced in 1954 as a student model, the Les Paul Junior was joined in the lineup the following year, 1955, by this Les Paul Special as its higher-end counterpart.

This model is a 2020 Les Paul Special.

The traditional single-cut body shape, crafted entirely from mahogany, features a flat top and a retro look.

The neck is mahogany and the fingerboard is rosewood—a classic combination.

It is equipped with two soapbar-style P-90 pickups.

Its sound is characterized by a sweetness combined with a sharp, crisp edge.

It features a bar bridge.

The truss rod and neck are in good condition.
The body and finish have fine dents throughout. The metal parts show some tarnish.
The top of the body has linear scratches beneath the bridge and near the controls.
The side of the body has a linear scratch on the lower part near the 1st string and impact marks near the upper strap pin.
The back of the body shows scattered scuffs and signs of wear.
Signs of wear are also visible on the headstock surface.
