| Killer Guitars is a brand established to produce guitars for Akira Takasaki, the guitarist of the world-renowned metal band LOUDNESS. Although the brand was established for Mr. Takasaki, many other guitarists, including Luke Takamura, Ichiro Ito, and KOJI, also use Killer guitars. (Titles omitted) This model is the KG-Exploder SE, which retains Killer's traditional design while successfully reducing costs by being manufactured in China. The body is made of alder, and the neck is made of hard maple. It features a striking, aggressive shape similar to higher-end models. The neck joint uses a deep-insert neck joint. While it's a bolt-on joint, it's said to improve sustain by inserting the neck deeply into the body. It's equipped with two original humbucker pickups. It's characterized by a powerful and edgy sound. The bridge is equipped with a Floyd Rose Special tremolo unit. This allows for dynamic whammy bar use, further expanding the range of expression. The body and paintwork have some minor scratches overall, a dent near the body end, and some rust and tarnish on the metal parts. The electronics are in good condition.
