| Music Man, which started as Leo Fender's second brand, has captivated many musicians with its innovative designs. It is a favorite among guitarists worldwide, including John Petrucci, Steve Lukather, and Steve Morse. This model is a signature model of John Petrucci, guitarist of Dream Theater. It is packed with modern specifications. Furthermore, as a Ball Family Reserve, it is positioned in the premium line. The body back is made of basswood, the core is mahogany, and the top is maple. At first glance, it looks like a modern ST-type guitar, but the deeply contoured body and exquisitely crafted horn section provide an attractive fit and balance when held. Despite being a 7-string model, it feels surprisingly compact. The neck is made of carefully selected mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of ebony. This guitar boasts a remarkably modern and smooth playability thanks to its exquisitely balanced neck shape (thin yet with just the right amount of thickness), 24 frets, a 20-inch flat fingerboard, and medium-jumbo stainless steel frets. It's equipped with DiMarzio LiquiFire and Crunch Lab pickups. Furthermore, it features a built-in Piezo System, allowing it to cover even acoustic-like sounds. It excels not only in modern heavy sounds but also in delicate clean tones. The bridge is a Custom John Petrucci Music Man® Piezo floating tremolo. It's said to offer smooth tremolo action comparable to a locking tremolo, while also providing exceptional tuning stability.
