Ovation is the brand that took the world by storm with its innovative acoustic guitar designs.

This instrument is a 1985 1617G Legend.

Featuring Ovation’s signature deep-bowl body, it offers rich volume and deep, resonant bass tones.

The top is made of spruce, while the back features Lyrecord, a material synonymous with Ovation.

Although its construction differs from that of a standard acoustic guitar, it produces a clear, well-defined sound.

It also features gold hardware typical of the Legend series from that era, as well as a beautifully decorated rosette and binding, giving it a striking appearance that stands out on stage.

It’s easy to play through an amp, of course, but it also has excellent balance when played unplugged, making it a sound that pairs exceptionally well with singing while playing or strumming.
