| PRS is a new-era standard guitar brand, alongside Fender and Gibson. The beautiful guitars they produce are known to be used by top musicians worldwide, including Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Orianthi Panagaris, Daita, and Pablo. This model is from the S2 series, a mid-range line within the PRS lineup, introduced in 2013. It uses the same tonewoods as the Core and bolt-on models and is manufactured in the USA. Compared to Core, it features a more subdued grain on the top and a scarf-joint neck, successfully maintaining the high quality characteristic of American-made guitars while keeping costs down. This model is the Mira, which has a retro look within the PRS lineup. The body has a unique look with an all-mahogany flat top and a pickguard. The body top has an asymmetrical beveled top. It has a different, more appealing look than the standard violin curve. The neck is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood. This guitar features a Pattern Regular neck shape and a 25-inch scale length, offering the playability characteristic of PRS guitars. It's equipped with two humbucker pickups. It's characterized by a clear yet powerful sound. The tuning machines are locking, and the bridge is a stop-tail bridge, making it suitable for various playing styles. This is a superb instrument that combines the straightforward sound of a Gibson SG or Les Paul Special, thanks to its all-mahogany body, with the smooth playability unique to PRS. The body and paintwork show overall dents, scratches, and paint chipping. Significant paint chipping is visible around the endpin and near the 4th string tuning peg post on the headstock.
