| The beautiful guitars they manufacture are known to be favored by world-class musicians such as Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Orianthi Panagaris, Daita, and Pablo. This model is released from the SE line, which achieves high quality through superior quality control while keeping the price lower than previous models. The SE NF3 was released as a new model in 2024. The NF3 was previously produced for only a few years in the Core series. Although production has unfortunately ended, it still enjoys strong popularity. The body is made of poplar. Poplar is lightweight and has properties similar to alder, a representative wood used in electric guitars, and has become highly valued by many guitar brands in recent years. Both the neck and fretboard are made of maple. The neck grip has a satin finish, which is unusual for PRS. The smooth, silky feel and ease of movement during position changes are definite advantages. This guitar features a bolt-on neck joint, which is unusual for PRS guitars. Compared to models with a set-neck joint, it has a distinctive sound with a clear attack. It is equipped with three Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) "S" pickups. This may be the most distinctive feature of this model. While it has a humbucking-like design, the basic sound is geared towards single-coil pickups. By using a tall bobbin and increasing the number of coil windings, it achieves higher output while the dual-coil design provides hum-canceling. It has the sparkle of a single-coil and the low noise of a humbucker. It outputs a well-balanced, clear, and powerful sound that blends well with any tone, from clean to crunch to high-gain. Its versatility, allowing it to handle various genres despite being a single-coil sound, is a major attraction. The bridge is a PRS-designed tremolo bridge. This patented PRS bridge is characterized by smooth tremolo action and high tuning stability. This new model boasts PRS's signature high playability and sound variations, along with a refined new single-coil sound. Please try it out! Fret life is approximately 90%. The truss rod and neck are in good condition. The body and paintwork have numerous scratches on the pickguard, but there is no major damage, making it a beautiful instrument. The electronics have a slight crackling sound around the 0-3 tone knob. No obvious modifications were observed.
