| PRS is a new-era standard guitar brand, alongside Fender and Gibson. The beautiful guitars they produce are known to be used by top musicians worldwide, including Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Orianthi Panagaris, Daita, and Pablo. This model is from the SE line, which achieves high quality through superior quality control while keeping the price lower than previous models. This is the CE 24, which appeared in 1988. While retaining the familiar PRS body shape, it uses a bolt-on joint instead of a set-neck joint, giving it specifications somewhat closer to Fender. The sound, with its clear attack characteristic of a bolt-on joint, had a different charm from the flagship Custom 24 model. This model is the SE CE 24 Standard, with simpler specifications. While the SE CE 24 had a three-layer construction of maple and mahogany, this one has an all-mahogany body. Furthermore, the finish is satin, not gloss. The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is made of rosewood. It features a satin finish, which is unusual for PRS guitars, giving it a smooth feel and excellent glide when changing positions. While cost-effective models often have altered inlays, this guitar retains the signature PRS bird inlays, which is a welcome feature. The front and rear pickups are 85/15 “S” pickups, which are used in various PRS models. Based on the 85/15 developed to commemorate PRS's 30th anniversary, these pickups produce a clear and modern tone. The pickups can be coil-tapped by pulling the tone pot. This patented PRS bridge is characterized by its smooth tremolo action and high tuning stability.
