| SCHECTER is a US-based brand that manufactures and sells high-quality guitars. Schecter has a long history and a strong reputation in the US, having even undertaken OEM manufacturing for New York-based brands such as Sadowsky. This model is the classic SD-II. It's a modern Stratocaster-type guitar with an HSH pickup layout, 24 frets, a locking tremolo unit, and coil tapping. The body back is made of ash, the body top and neck are maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood. It features a compact Dinky shape, making it easy to handle. The neck and bridge pickups are Super Rock J, and the middle pickup is a Monster Tone J. With its HSH layout, coil tapping, and low-cut switch, it offers a surprisingly wide range of sounds for a single guitar. The bridge is equipped with a locking tremolo unit. This allows for dynamic whammy bar use, further expanding the range of expression. A versatile model boasting high-quality sound, excellent playability, and a wide range of tonal variations. This is a guitar we highly recommend for performance-oriented guitarists. The frets have approximately 70% remaining. The truss rod and neck are in good condition. There is some paint chipping on the headstock. There are scratches and indentations on the back of the neck near the 3rd, 5th, and 12th frets, and some indentations on the frets of the 1st to 3rd strings. (No buzzing was observed with the current string height of 2.0mm on the 6th string and 1.5mm on the 1st string.) There are numerous scratches on the pickguard, tarnish on the metal parts, and fine scratches overall. The electronics are in good condition. No obvious modifications were observed.
