| Swing Guitars is a South Korea-based brand specializing in entry-level to mid-range guitars. All parts are manufactured in their own factory in South Korea, and assembly is done at a factory in Indonesia. The company president personally visits the factory to control quality, ensuring a high level of manufacturing. This model, the S-100 EX, is a representative modern Stratocaster type from the brand. With its high playability and balanced sound, it's a guitar recommended for a wide range of players, from beginners to intermediate. The body is made of basswood, the neck is roasted maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood. Roasted wood, also known as thermowood, is a new material popularized by Sago New Material Guitars in Japan. Originally developed in Finland as wood for building saunas, it's characterized by high stability even in high temperature and humidity conditions because the moisture and oils inside the wood are evaporated by high-temperature processing. In terms of sound, it gives the impression of a more refined and rich tone. The frets are made of stainless steel. Stainless steel is characterized by its lack of tarnishing and high hardness. Stainless steel frets retain their shine indefinitely and are extremely resistant to wear, making them popular in high-end guitar brands in recent years. The pickups are in an SSH layout, with original single-coils in the neck and middle positions, and the classic Seymour Duncan TB-4 in the bridge position. It covers a wide range of sounds, from edgy and sparkling tones to powerful distortion. Furthermore, it features a mini-switch for coil tapping.
