| Tokai is a guitar brand that has been active in Japan since the early days of guitar making. Its high quality is still highly regarded today, captivating many guitarists. This model is the AST-148. It's an off-catalog model featuring a mahogany body, oil finish, and SSH pickup layout. The body is mahogany, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood. The familiar, traditional double-cutaway design is finished in a natural color that highlights the wood grain and color, resulting in a simple and understated look. The pickups are in an SSH layout with single-coils in the neck and middle positions, and a humbucker in the bridge position. It covers a wide range of sounds, from edgy and sparkling tones to powerful distortion. While maintaining a traditional look, it incorporates modern elements such as simple controls, a flat fingerboard radius, and 22 frets. Why not take this opportunity to acquire one?
