Valley Arts is a high-end guitar brand established in Los Angeles in the late 1970s.
It is known for being favored by many legendary guitarists such as Steve Lukather, Larry Carlton, and Lee Ritenour.
This model is the M Series, manufactured in Japan.
It's a stage-ready instrument featuring a traditional double-cutaway design with modern specifications.
The domestic workshop involved in its production is High-End Guitars, known for crafting Musicman's EX series and other high-end instruments.
The body is solid-colored, but the wood grain visible at the neck joint suggests a typical component combination: Ash body, Maple neck, and Ebony fingerboard.
The body is finished in a dark blue color. Combined with the black pickguard, jet-black fingerboard, and matching headstock, it achieves a cohesive, cool look.
It features Valley Arts original pickups in an SSH configuration.
The sound is characterized by clarity and power.
The bridge employs a Floyd Rose tremolo unit.
This enables dynamic arm work, further expanding expressive possibilities.
Boasting high quality in looks, sound, and playability, this is a guitar we recommend to a wide range of players.
Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck shows slight high bowing, but it plays perfectly fine with a 6-string side of 2.0mm to a 1-string side of 1.5mm.
The body and finish show significant overall wear. Metal parts have rust, tarnish, and scratches. Multiple dents are present on the body sides, and there is a crack at the neck joint.
The electronics are in good condition.
The strap pins have been replaced.
Controls: 1 Volume, 5-way selector, 1 boost circuit? (Likely a gain booster, but details could not be confirmed.)
