| Xotic is a brand founded in LA by Japanese builder Hiro Miura. Many famous musicians, including Allen Hinds, Toshi Yanagi, Oz Noy, and Yuya Komoguchi, use Xotic guitars. This model is the original XGC model. The body back is made of alder, and the top is made of quilted maple. The body, with its original double-cutaway design, is finished in purple, and the absence of a pickguard enhances the beautiful wood grain, resulting in a mystical look. Furthermore, this instrument features a semi-hollow construction, resulting in a sound that is somewhere between a solid-body and an acoustic guitar, combining a moderate resonance with tightness. The S-shaped soundhole contributes to its distinctive look. The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is made of rosewood. The neck has an oil finish, the joint is heel-less, and the fretwork, characteristic of Xotic, provides smooth playability even in the upper positions. It is equipped with two original humbucker pickups. It features a clear yet fat sound. The bridge is a 6-saddle hardtail type. It fits a variety of styles.
