Gibson is the king of guitars, having produced countless masterpieces.
It's beloved by countless artists, including Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, and Shinichi Ikugata. (Titles omitted)

The ES-335 was introduced by Gibson in 1958.

It features a distinctive double-cutaway hollow body.

The interior of the body is solid, with a center block (where the pickups and bridge are located). The sides are hollow and feature violin-like F-holes.

Its structure lies somewhere between a solid-body guitar and an acoustic guitar, giving it the nickname "semi-acoustic."

The appeal of semi-acoustic guitars is that they are more resistant to feedback than fully acoustic guitars and are perfectly suited to rock music.

In fact, many artists use them in rock bands.

This model is an ES-335 manufactured in 1996, featuring dot inlays.
This model could be called the epitome of semi-acoustic guitars.

The body features a maple/poplar/maple laminate top, sides, and back.

This construction controls the body's resonance while increasing its resistance to cracking.

The neck is made of mahogany and the fingerboard is made of rosewood, a classic Gibson combination.

The dark cherry finish on the body, combined with damage and weathering due to aging, gives it an old-school look.

The pickups are Gibson '57 Classic in the neck and bridge.

This is a long-time Gibson favorite and a replica of the PAF humbucking pickup developed by Seth Lover.

The sound is thick and sweet, yet also tight.

The semi-hollow construction and thin body make it resistant to feedback, so you can play it with no problems, even when distorting.

This is a classic instrument beloved by many artists and used in a wide variety of musical genres.
