G&L is Leo Fender's third brand, following Fender and Musicman.
It is beloved by many artists, including Will Ray, Kanehiro Shingo, and chay.
This model is the Espada, designed by Leo Fender in the late 1960s.
Although designed, it was never put into production and became a legendary guitar. However, more than half a century later, it has been manufactured by combining the original blueprints and documents with modern technology.
With its unique looks, split-type MFD pickups similar to those used in the PB style, and a saddle-lock bridge, this model is truly packed with Leo Fender's ideas.
The body is made of swamp ash, a wood that has been used since the early days of solid-state guitars.
The neck is hard maple and the fingerboard is rosewood.
Its playability is modern, with a slightly flat 9.5-inch fingerboard radius and medium jumbo frets.
The pickups are MFD (Magnetic Field Design) pickups, arguably G&L's greatest feature.
By placing a ceramic magnet under the coil to increase output and reducing the number of coil turns, this model produces a powerful sound while maintaining low noise.
This MFD also features a split design reminiscent of the Precision Bass, with series/parallel switching available.
This allows you to enjoy fat and brilliant tones.
