PRS is a new generation of standard guitar brands, rivaling Fender and Gibson.
The beautiful guitars they produce are known for being used by world-renowned musicians such as Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Orianthi Panagaris, DAITA, and PABLO. (Abbreviation)
This model, the McCarty 594, was created in collaboration with Ted McCarty, the creator of the Gibson Les Paul, and brings the McCarty closer to vintage guitars.
The name 594 comes from the scale length.
While PRS guitars generally feature a 25-inch scale, which lies between the Fender and Gibson scales, this model features a unique 24.594-inch scale.
This comes from the fact that the scale of a 1950s Les Paul was measured at 24.594 inches.
This is a single-cut guitar with a traditional look.
Compared to the double-cutaway model, this guitar has a more pronounced bass range, producing a sound closer to the original Les Paul.
The body back is made of one-piece mahogany, with a beautiful 10-top flame maple top.
The finish is a beautifully gradient McCarty Sunburst.
Combined with the maple on the 10-top, it creates an exquisite look that changes appearance depending on the angle you look at it from.
The neck is made of mahogany, with a traditional rosewood fingerboard.
The deep black rosewood is a testament to the carefully selected wood.
The neck shape is also distinctive, featuring the "Pattern Vintage" neck shape, which meticulously reproduces the neck shape of a 1953 Les Paul.
This is the thickest PRS neck shape, but with an asymmetrical shape on the 6th and 1st string sides, it combines a vintage feel with excellent playability.
The guitar is equipped with two 58/15 LT pickups.
This guitar was crafted with the aim of capturing the humbucker sound of the late '50s, producing a clear, warm sound.
The pickups are coil-tappable and can also be operated as single coils.
The diverse range of tones is appealing.
The controls and hardware also follow a vintage style, giving it a traditional look.
Combining high playability with a vintage sound, this is a truly PRS-perfect guitar.
Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The truss rod and neck are in good condition.
The body and paint have some scratches near the toggle switch, slight discoloration on the bridge saddle, scratches on the pickup cover, dents near the back contour of the body, and scratches on the back panel, but there is no major damage and it is in excellent condition.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
