Provision Guitar is a handmade brand based in Yamaguchi Prefecture that produces high-quality guitars.
They are known for being favorites of professional musicians such as Masayoshi Yamazaki, Takuya Ohashi, Ryuta Yamamura, and Asako Miyazaki.
This is a simple Startocaster replica model.
The body is a two-piece alder, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
It features a classic wood construction.
According to the previous owner, the fingerboard is made of Jacaranda.
Jacaranda is a wood that was used by Fender and Gibson at certain times, and is now known for its rarity, which means international trade is restricted.
The fingerboard radius on this instrument has been changed from 7.25 to 9.5, and the frets have been replaced with JESCAR medium jumbo frets.
This gives it a traditional look with modern playability.
The pickups have been replaced with Raw Vintage RV-6264s.
This guitar reproduces Fender's 1962-1964 pickups.
It produces a rich, fat sound, particularly with a deep mid-low range.
A masterpiece that shows the attention to detail in the wood, hardware, and pickups.
Don't miss this opportunity!
Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is stiff but has been confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The neck has a slight high lift, but is playable with a 2.0mm (6th string) to 1.5mm (1st string) setting.
The body and finish show signs of general wear. There is a large linear scratch on the body near the 6th string. There is rust and dullness on the metal parts.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The bridge saddle, tremolo springs, and pickups have been replaced with Raw Vintage ones.
