Just as Fender launched Fender Japan, Gibson launched the Orville throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
The Les Paul Junior was released in 1954 as a student model of the Les Paul Standard, released by Gibson in 1952.
As an Orville by Gibson, it is carefully produced in Japan and features hybrid specifications, using the same pickups as the original Gibson USA.
Due to its high level of craftsmanship, it has become extremely rare and valuable today.
The body is the classic mahogany.
The traditional double-cut body shape with a flat top gives it a retro look.
The neck is made of mahogany and the fingerboard is made of rosewood, a classic combination.
It is equipped with a single dog-ear P-90 pickup.
It produces a sweet, edgy sound.
The Junior has a unique sound and look that is slightly different from the Standard, making it popular with many fans.
Why not take advantage of this opportunity?
Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is slightly raised, but this is not a problem as long as the string height is not lowered too much.
The body and finish have seal marks and dents all over the body top.
There is a dent on the cutaway near the 6th string, a brown scratch on the back of the body, a dent near the control panel on the back of the body, a dent near the endpin on the side of the body, a dent on the back of the neck at the 21st fret, and paint cracks and dents on the headstock.
The strap pin position has been relocated.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
