This model is the HS-SV, a top-of-the-line model in the History Jazz & Rockabilly series produced in the 1990s.
Based on the Gibson L-5, it features an arched spruce top and beautiful curly maple back and sides, finished with an extremely thin layer of lacquer.
Gold hardware and impressive inlays on the headstock and fingerboard further enhance this instrument's luxurious look.
The large hollow body and humbucking pickups produce a powerful bass range and a sweet, mellow high range.
Approximately 50% of the frets remain.
The truss rod works and the neck is in good condition.
The body and finish show numerous scratches and dents, and the gold parts have rusted.
