This model is a Stratocaster from the Basic Classic series, which has been made affordable through a series of small cost-cutting measures without compromising on quality.

The body material has been changed from alder to basswood in the Neo Classic series.
The sound is straightforward and clear, with few quirks.

This also contributes to the guitar's light weight, at around 3.2-3.4kg, so it's hard to call it simply a cost-cutting measure.

The medium jumbo frets are attached using the familiar CFS (circle fretting system).
CFS frets are fan-shaped, placing them at a right angle to the strings, allowing for more accurate scale setting.

The appeal is more accurate intonation. Playability remains unchanged.

The pickups are FGN's original single-coil design.
