A wooden spacer called a shim is placed between the body and neck, and the neck angle can be adjusted by changing the shim's thickness.

The electronics are ES-B, which incorporates elements of the Expression System 2 (ES-2) found in Taylor's higher-end models.
Instead of placing a piezo element under the bridge saddle, sensors are arranged behind the bridge saddle, allowing the guitar's original sound to be output naturally.
