PRS is a new-generation standard guitar brand, rivaling Fender and Gibson.
The beautiful guitars they produce are known to be used by top musicians around the world, including Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Orianthi Panagaris, DAITA, and PABLO.
This model is the NF 53, which was released in 2023.
It was inspired by a 1953 vintage guitar that is a favorite of company president Paul Reed Smith.
Its look is based on the traditional single-cutaway guitar, the origin of solid-body guitars, but it is packed with original ideas throughout.
This guitar was carefully selected by our store staff at a recent PRS selection meeting.
It also comes autographed by PRS founder and president Paul Reed Smith, making it an extremely special model.
The body is made of swamp ash with a undulating grain.
The body is contoured, offering a classic design with a modern shape that fits the body perfectly.
Both the neck and fingerboard are maple.
The neck shape is Pattern 53.
The neck is modeled after the neck shape of a vintage 1953 guitar, providing a grippy feel while also featuring a unique shape for modern playability.
The neck grip is finished with a satin finish, which is rare for PRS.
It has a smooth feel and is easy to slide around, making it easy to move between positions.
This model features a bolt-on joint, which is rare for PRS.
Compared to models with a set neck joint, it features a distinct sound with a clearer attack.
The pickups are two Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) pickups.
Although this is a humbucking pickup, the sound is primarily single-coil.
The tall bobbin allows for more coil turns, increasing output, while the dual-coil design provides hum cancellation.
It's as brilliant as a single coil, yet as low-noise as a humbucker.
It produces a well-balanced, clear, and powerful sound that suits any tone, from clean to crunch to high-gain.
Despite its single-coil sound, its versatility in a variety of genres is a major attraction.
The bridge is a steel plate-style bridge and features dual brass saddles.
The dual saddles allow wound and plain strings to ride on the same saddle, improving intonation compared to previous models.
The tuning machines are vintage-style, and the tuning machines feature the latest wing buttons.
This has successfully reduced the headstock weight and improved sustain compared to previous models.

The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
