Valiant Guitars is a high-end brand based in Ukraine.
The founders, the Gavrilenko brothers, have over 30 years of guitar-making experience, but they continue to explore new possibilities without losing their passion.
Vadim and Dima are both musicians, playing bass and guitar, respectively.
This allows them to continually seek out and improve their respective styles, each uniquely crafted from a musician's perspective.
Many parts, such as bridges, saddles, and nuts, are handcrafted by the brothers themselves.
This ensures that their products are faithful to the brand's concept and are uncompromising.
The two brothers continue to evolve the history of guitar craft that began with their father, and the brand is constantly evolving.
This model, the Mercury, combines offset guitar design with the traditional S-style.
While respecting the traditions of classic models, it has been updated with the highest specifications and carefully selected hardware, making it truly cutting-edge.
What's more, this model was custom-ordered by TONIQ and is a masterpiece of their own making.
This guitar was created with the look of the Stratocaster prototype crafted by the late George Fullerton, a close friend of the late Leo Fender.
The body is crafted from European alder.
It boasts a one-of-a-kind body shape with a unique design not found on other models.
The Louisiana Ol'House body color, black acrylic pickguard, duralumin fins, and matching headstock combine to create a cool look.
The neck is crafted from quarter-grained hard-rock maple.
Hard-rock maple is known for its extremely hardness, and this rare quarter-grain wood accounts for only 10-15% of the wood produced from a single log.
Compared to flat-grained maple, quarter-grained maple is said to be stronger, more resistant to environmental changes, and more stable.
It is reinforced with titanium for added strength, ensuring exceptional neck stability and consistently high playability.
The fingerboard is made of maple.
Valiant Guitars are known for using only the finest, carefully selected woods for all their woodwork, and this model truly lives up to that promise with flame-grain maple.
The fingerboard has a flat 12-inch radius and jumbo frets, providing modern playability.
This model also features an elegant design with wheel nuts for neck adjustment recessed into the fingerboard.
The pickups are Valiant's original M80 pickups in an SSH configuration.
They are characterized by a very balanced and clear sound.
Controls include one volume, one tone, a 3-way toggle switch, and two slide switches.
The slide switches allow the bridge pickup, neck pickup, and middle pickup to function as humbuckers in series, parallel, or single-coil operation.
The versatile SSH layout allows for even deeper sound shaping, resulting in a wide range of tones that you wouldn't expect from a single guitar.
And what's more, every combination produces a beautiful sound, which is a major attraction.
This means that the sound is already well-balanced acoustically.
The nut is made of an original bell bronze material.
The height is adjustable, allowing for a variety of settings.
The tuning machines are Gotoh locking, and the bridge is a Gotoh two-point tremolo unit, a world-class combination.
This is a masterpiece from a legitimate and powerful brand that continues to thrive in the beautiful country of Ukraine.
Please give it a try.
It will be delivered after rigorous inspection by TONIQ craftsmen.
