Seed is an entry-level brand from Sago New Material Guitars, a handmade brand based in the Kansai region.
This model, the Rutile, was supervised by Yoshiaki Manabe (of the pillows).
This ambitious guitar features an offset body shape, two humbuckers, a Tune-O-Matic pickup, and a stop tailpiece.
The body is made of alder, the neck is thermo maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
Roasted wood, also known as thermo wood, is a new material popularized by Sago New Material Guitars in Japan.
Originally developed as a Finnish technique for building saunas, it is treated at high temperatures to evaporate the moisture and oils inside the wood, providing excellent stability even in hot and humid environments.
The sound is characterized by a more refined and rich tone.
The pickups are L(x) LHB1.
It produces a powerful, edgy sound.
The pickups can be coil-tapped by pulling the tone pot.

The truss rod and neck are in good condition.
The body and finish show signs of use, and there are picking marks on the pickup cover. There is a trace of melted resin near the 1st string of the bridge, but it is usually not noticeable as it is hidden by the pickguard. There is a paint chip at the neck joint on the 6th string side of the body, and a linear scratch can be seen on the jack plate. There is also some adhesive residue sticking out from the nut.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
